Gary's first solo pop album in 10 years contains 10 new songs and features performances by Jeff Lynne, Savuka (Jonny Clegg's band) and L. Shankar. The CD was seven years in the making and was recorded in Europe and the USA. The album includes two remakes from Gary's earlier works; one track from his first solo album Extraction (The Wrong Time) and a Spooky Tooth track (Wildfire). One of the tracks, "If You Believe in Heaven" which appeared on his Best of CD in a different mix, was co-written with Graham Gouldman (10CC) and Adrian Lee (Mike and the Mechanics). Human Love is a lyrical journey exploring the range of feelings and emotions in human relationships. It contains a blend of songs woven from his signature songwriting into a tapestry of synth textures and colored with world music overtones.
